"Chief" Bromden, a schizophrenic Native American man who pretends to be deaf and dumb so that everybody ignores him, narrates Ken Kesey's One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. This is a cover redesign of the novel, inspired by the unique perspective of the novel's narrator, the "Chief". "Chief" often describes his mind as being in a constant hallucinated fog caused by the ones who run the insane asylum in which he lives. It is this "fog" that serves as a visual motif throughout my designs.
Using motion graphics as a means of typographic expression, I created two videos that visually explore the novel through the eyes of the narrator, Cheif Bromden.
